Accommodation

In general, we do expect that mushers for dryland races usually come to races with their own caravan or camper homes and camp in the Stake Out Area.
In case this is not possible for you in Mühlberg, there are some helpful hints for alternative accommodation.

Renting out caravans is generally possible in Germany; there some providers in the area. However, most of them shut down rentals for the winter season.
The campsite right next to the Stake Out Area (for rental of cabins) is closed from October on! So, it makes no sense to contact them.

The hotel “Taubennest”, which is part of the property where we have our Stake Out Area, is a very small one and reserved for race officials. So, no use to contact them, either.

For other B&B or hotel accommodation in the area, you will find an overview of possible places at the community’s web site at https://www.drei-gleichen.de/.
Other than that, we kindly ask you to refer to the usual booking web sites such as booking.com, expedia.com, airbnb.com, hrs.de and similar web sites.

Mandatory documents

All participants are required to bring the following documents to Mühlberg:

  • FCI pedigrees (in original – no copies!) of all dogs who are supposed to race
  • Vaccination records for all dogs (also those who are not supposed to race)
  • Proof of insurance for all dogs (also those who are not supposed to race)

Without these documents, it is not possible to participate in the World Championships!
